Web Rebates, DealHelper and others

I have a Compaq Presario 2100 with an AMD Athlon processor running at 2.8GHz. I use Windows XP and the computer is about six months old; I have broadband internet.

For a while I've noticed some things I don't like the look of in my Program Files folder. Can anyone tell me whether these programs are good or bad, and how to get rid of them?

Web_Rebates
TV Media
Dealhelper.com Inc
ATI technologies
xerox

I particularly want to get rid of Web Rebates as it shows up as an option whenever I click the right mouse button. I have SpywareGuard, Adaware, Spybot Search and Destroy and Hijack This on my computer.

Xerox is ok, part of Windows. ATI Technologies is your video card, its fine. The rest are all big trouble. Check add\remove programs and you will find Web Deals or shopping, Viewpoint Player and similar so uninstall them all.

Thanks for your help! I've done all that and my system is now, apparently, clear - certainly free of DealHelper and Web Rebates, thank goodness!
