Web site content to different computer?

I've had a brain lapse, or maybe I never knew the answer to this question: I enrolled in an online genealogy program using my desktop computer. I'd like to get that site with all my genealogical information, onto my laptop computer. Can I? How? I wondered about using a flash drive, but don't know how. The desktop computer has XP. The laptop has Vista Home Premium. I have a home wireless network, but I've never been able to get the two computers to communicate with each other. Thanks.

 

Well, did you actually download genealogical files for permanent storage on your hard drive, or do you need to be online to view this information?

Do you have an Internet connection with your laptop? Have you visited the genealogical website with your laptop?

Isn't the solution obvious here? The genealogical content is online, on the website. So, you have to be online to view it. Therefore, you need to get online with your laptop.

Is there some reason you can't get online with your laptop? Can you only get online with one computer at a time? What is your current hardware setup for Internet access?
