    Hello.

I was wondering if it was possible to have a webcam on one computer and view it on another?

We have a store with 2 computers. One is in the front and one in the back. I would like to hook up the webcam to the front computer and be able to watch it from the back. Also, I would like to be able to record the webcam and allocate a certain amount of disk space for it. I would also like to be able to view the webcam from home.

Is any of this possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

I use a free program called "Yawcam" to stream my web cam on the internet. Then you can view it from anywhere in a web browser as long as you know the IP address. You can also stream to a file, and it has motion detection so it doesn't record unless something moves in front of the camera.

I think there are several programs like this out there, I just googled until I found one I liked.
