webcam problem

    i think something was accidently deleted from my computer concerning webcam.msn says cannot detect webcam.i don't have install disk and cam has no company name or model number is there anything i can do to get my webcam working again?

    Is it a USB connector? If so, unplug and plug back in again.

    yes tried that i deleted something from the computer by mistake when clearing off some stuff but not sure what it was.

    If your Windows version is ME/XP then use System Restore to roll back to a date the cam was working, see if its working once you do that.
