Webhosting

I have been using a sub-par webhosting service for the past few months. I was attempting to install PHPBB on my little chunk of the internet, but the webhosting company informed me that I can't CHMOD any files I uploaded, and They also informend me that, "We do not support PHP as a scripting language". After their poor services and drastic instability I have decided to find a new webhosting company. I admit that I am stupid for Not properlly researching my webhost before signing up.

What webhosting company would you suggest?

 

If the site isn't too big I find powweb ( www.powweb.com )to be a really good hosting company. They provide php/perl and a mySQL databse. Plus a bunch of other things. They offer a rather large chunk of bandwidth too (10GB a day). Although if your site uses more then that then you can't host there at all, as they don't support upgrading beyond that package.

They're fairly cheap as well, but if you're willing to go without a mySQL DB, then you can most likely find some slightly cheaper ones.
