weblinks wont load

    Does any body know why when I click a link in a webpage not all just some wont load. Example....When I open my smart defrg program and click on the update link the window opens but nothing loads...same thing like on my ccleaner program and like on certain websites and I go to click on support link same thing....I hope I described this enough....Any Ideas...

    What version of windows are you running? What browser 9and version) are you running?
    Give examples of links that will not open and also examples of links that will open.

    I am running XP , IE6 but I think I am gonna download IE7 tonight, can not for the life of me remember the websites right now but like if your looking at a website and they have like a link you can click to get support it opens another window but it wont load.not on all websites it has only happened a couple of times
