I have tried both IE8 and Firefox.

I have attached a screenshot as an example.

I have cleared cookies and history and reset IE but with same results.

    I am at a loss.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Does the same thing happen in Firefox?

If not, then you've narrowed it down to the browser.

    What OS are you running?
Is this an older computer? - If so, then that means you have had upgrades to IE.

You can goto add/remove programs and uninstall it. It will revert you back to IE7. See if the same problem occurs.

page looks the same in IE8 and Firefox.

I will try your suggestion and remove IE8.

    I'll keep you updated.

    Thanks!

    Hi

If it displays the same in Firefox then the issue is likely to be in another area, could well be one of your security applications, so what have you got installed, please name all (also popup blockers and any toolbars that maybe installed in both Firefox and IE)?

Could disable your security apps to try and see if its one of them causing this.

Would try say Firefox in its Safe Mode, open its folder in the Start menu and you will see Firefox (Safe Mode) is it the same in that?

    ok,

    Uninstalled IE8. IE7 same results.

Prior to posting I removed Norton, Webroot, and EZ Trust.

I will try Firefox in Safe Mode next

    NORTON good God....lol

    I would try the following.

Create a new user profile and try the same browsers. if they work, then your profile is hosed.

    Weird.

In Safemode using Firefox, MajorGeeks.com looks normal but downloads.com looks exactly the same.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for the help.

Have we tried flushing the dns?

    command prompt type

    ipconfig /flushdns

If that doesn't work try this.

I know you aren't having connectivity issues so much as display, but I've used that before in similar situations and it works.

Edit: I see from your toolbar you have CC Cleaner. Did you run that recently and this started happening?

Your screenshot appears to me to look like sites I go to when I have noscript running and javascript turned off. Check your settings, enable javascript temporarily refresh and see if the site appears normal.

Scratch that idea because I just went there with javascript disabled and the site appeared okay for me.
