Basically I have been tasked with making my mother a website for her new venture.

I would like to know the following;

2. Best Domain registrar and domain host
3. Any helpful website for web design

Actually many blog templates and themes look more like websites than blogs these days. Wordpress.com is on top of the world in that regard. THE best in my view. There's also a Wordpress.org but the hosting is not free at their place. All sorts of skins/templates/themes, FAQ's, tutorials, forums, email support and what have you is ready for your mum at WordPress.com. Free. It'll take you 1 minute to get the new site online, Google indexed and the works. Link: http://wordpress.com/
