    Hi,

Is anyone aware of any software that would enable me to enter a URL and search for a specific piece of text on the whole website? Search engines don't do what I need.

ie. I would enter "www.majorgeeks.com" and search for "CPU" and the software would search the entire website for that phrase.

    Thanks.

go to google and type in what you want to search for and tehn at the end of the search string, type in "site:www.majorgeeks.com" or whatever you want your search to be out of, and then it will search only from that website.

    CPU site:www.majorgeeks.com

This is what I use to search on google:

    site:majorgeeks.com cpu

From what I can tell, they both do the same thing.

Or alternatively, download Mozilla Firefox, press the ctrl + f and a find utility comes up which is useful.

the ctrl +f thing works for all browsers, and it only searches the page that your on. the google method will search the entire cached website.
