webstyle trial

Hi I d/l'd a trial program, webstyle 4 by xara. The trial is supposed to end after 15 days, but I already don't care for it, so I tried to just remove it via add/remove programs. Not suprisingly, I got an error message, "Error loading. C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\INSTAL~1\PROFES~1\RUNTIME\09\00\INTEL32\Ctor.dll The system cannot find the path specified." I managed to track down the file it couldn't find, but it was located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Engine\6\Intel32\Ctor.dll. Even after attempting to create a shortcut to the file, it refuses. What should I do? Now I'm worried that when the trial is up, will the files will ever be deleted correctly? Grrrrr, I didn't have enough to do today, please more abuse!! Lol

 

copy the file from the second location to the first location.

 

Well, I tried your suggestion. Since the "specified path" didn't even exist, I created the folders that it claimed were in that path, then copied the file needed for the uninstall. I got past the original error, only to be greeted with another. This one read,
"Setup has recieved an error.
Please do the following:
-close any running programs;
-empty your temporary folder;
-check your internet connection (internet based setups)
Then try running Setup again.
error code -6003"
I did what it requested, but to no avail. Have any other suggestions? If this doesn't delete automatically when the trial is up (which I have a feeling it won't) I'll have to contact the manufacturer.....but even that can be alot like trying to talk to a human at the IRS, lol!

 

na.. just dumpt the folder and any files that it came with and run a registry cleaner on your system.
