Weekend Thread: It's here! Now what?

motc7 has been slacking off in his weekend thread duties lately. Someone must pick up that slack. :major

I am starting my weekend by making dinner. Steelhead filet baked in butter, thyme and lemon, with home made mashed potatoes and a Chilean sauvignon blanc. After enjoying this tasty meal I will watch the recorded muay thai hour from G4, and after that, probably play video games and drinking the rest of the wine until I fall asleep.

Tomorrow and Sunday, more videogaming! :hyper With a short break to prepare a Halloween costume.

 

Last Saturday I worked about 11 hours.

Tomorrow could be less, maybe 9....

 

I'm off, but getting things ready for my wife to have surgery. She is going to be laid up for a while, so I am turning the living room into a media haven for her. Computer, wii, X-box, TV . . . all at her disposal.

 

Just got a new website maintenance contract, so I'll start on that. Finishing touches on painting the deck. Would like to split some more oak - winter's coming. Baseball playoffs, and football Sunday.

Just got some decent cash together collecting artefacts from anomalies near Chernobyl so I'm thinking about spending 20,000 on a Dragunov sniper rifle.

A local gangster has offered to help me turn over a trader and take his business but he gives me such good prices for artefacts I can decide whether I want to kill my golden goose.

Gonna be a full weekend :cool

 

Sitting here watching the heaviest rain i have ever seen outside Singapore in the monsoon season, i think we are going to hear about floods on the news tonight.

Having a lazy weekend, got home from hospital Wednesday after my latest round of surgery so not able to do a lot.

 

Way to go, nothing better to recharge.
New procedure by the Docs, right?

Since there are no plans, its going to be a lethargic Sunday.
There's a good friend's get-together happening Sunday night- an hrs drive away, but I'll take a rain check.

Yeah I got offered 5-6 dates this weekend plus a couple of parties I was gonna hit up but had to take a rain check due to my Stalker:Call of Pripyat troubles,Jam packed.

Friday I spent a solid eight hours in front of the computers for our arena's new LED ribbon board again hoping this time it wouldn't kick my behind when it came to game time. I lost. Which was followed by discovering a new bar with my niece and nephew that I really, really like.

Today I am doing nothing. Not even putting on real clothes.

Sunday I have to be one of the judges for a chili cookoff. Should be an adventure.

I'm watching lots of college football today, several good games on. Currently Auburn - LSU.

 

I'm half way through watching the Gold Coast 600 motor race on TV.

It is now 7:17am on Sunday here in Cairns, OZ. Today is the second half of the 600 race. It is a street circuit, run through the streets of the Gold Coast.
Those who make the podium, 1, 2 or 3 drivers get a surfboard as trophies. :-D

#2 300 kms race today (approx 180 miles) distance, starting at 11am Queensland time. 3½ hours to go. 18 International drivers pitted against the best V8 drivers in OZ, including some well known US and UK drivers.

i kinda missed this weekend, it went too quick.
saturday, i went to see Doctor Who Live :-D twas awesomesauce, then sleepover at my mates (not much sleep though LOL)
Sunday: all of us at the sleepover were up and ready by 8.30 - miracle i think :zzz then spent the day at my dads putting his kitchen together and doing my maths homework. then went for a swim, and home to catch up on sleep.
monday, official start of half term so it still felt like a weekend :-D so met some mates down from sunderland, and realised i had not been near the puter in 3 days :cry so i'm spending today making up for lost time, and painting my bedroom
