Weird Colors displaying..

Ok, lately (within the last few hours) i'v seen some weird colors on my monitor, with icons and etc. I did check for viruse's and spyware/adware etc. Came clean, i'v tried restarting my computer, shutting it down for awhile, but its still there. The icons are not the same, and my screen "glitchs"..i have a couple screenshota of the weird colored icons and a progran..im not sure how to fix this, but it is bugging the heck out of me. Does anyone know how to fix this? And i tried to login to my myfilehut.com account, and it says invalid user..or something..i've tried all my s/ns and stuff.( thats off topic but w/e...) This is driving me nuts... i'v tried re installing my graphics card and monitor, but still no change. also when i right click > properties > settings, my comp. freezes for some reason..........If you need anymore information, please reply..thanks in advance.

Weird colors indeed.

Quick question. Do you see these weird colors when you boot your computer? What bout strange colorization when you are in BIOS? If you get strange colorization here, then you definately have a video card that is about to die.

What does

mean?

 

no i dont see them in my BIOS, which is good news, but when it gets to the screen where it has the little dialog box (on win 98/95, the login box) the background iimage i have is way f-ed up..but nothin unsual in the bios when starting up.


and s/n's mean screennames/login names..seems like my account got erased from the database...flippin that made me more pi$$ed..:/.

 

Have you updated the drivers lately? If so, try using your old ones. If not, try upgrading to newer ones.

yea i'v tried that. i have a 16mb voodoo card (yes..i know..very old..pos..but all i have and i havnt had any problems with it that i can recall) running OS : Windows ME. not sure how much RAM i have...this is an old a$$ computer..18Gb HDD..my system was working fine like 4 hrs ago and then out of the blue this happens...im really irritated by this..:/..

 

Does your graphics look odd in safe mode?

 

i havnt been able to get into safe mode....but im just going to reformat and just re install everything to see if it works. i updated my monitors drivers and everything got worse, i tried to downgrade it and nothing changed.............
