Weird Folders

I was looking in the all programs list and found IO and KW and when i put my cursor over it all it says is Uninstall.Any suggestions of what these are and if they are harmful,how to remove them.

Also in add or remove program list their is Privacy Master Personal Privacy Software it doesnt show its size.Theirs quite a bit of them like.
1.Windows Installer 3.1
2.Microsoft User-Mode Driver Framework Feature Pack 1.0
3.Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1
4.Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 Hotfix
5.Microsoft Compression Client Pack 1.0 For Windows XP
6.InCD Ahead Software

All of which i list have no size and i dont know what they are.Could anyone help?

Hi

Privacy Master is Webroots software if I'm not mistaken, and offhand without checking they dont sell this anymore, but is safe software.

1.Windows Installer 3.1

4.Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 Hotfix
5.Microsoft Compression Client Pack 1.0 For Windows XP
6.InCD Ahead Software

These are all safe, 1~5 are updates and needed for various applications, without Windows Installer 3.1, you wont be intalling anything, .Net is a programming language that many applications now use,

InCD is Neros Packet Writing software, fo rallowing you to use CDRW/DVDRWs as you would a hard drive in read write and delete, without having to format them.

Without a bit more info I cannot help with IO or KW, they could be applications but which ones I'm not sure, if you right click them and choose properties do you get any info on who created them as in maker ( details tab )?
