weird monitor trouble

    lately my monitor has been acting weird. it goes blank, like it turn off and than it comes back on by itself? its a samsung syncmaster 712N. i have a bfg 6600gt oc video card. it only goes off for like a second and than its fine. do you guys have any idea what the problem could be?
