Weird occurances with internet browsing...

I have been having a really wierd thing happen whenever I browse on the internet. If i click certain links wierd things happen. today i tried clicking a link to search about the green river guy on the news and up popped a porn site instead. When i use google to search for things sometimes when i click on the links it causes porn sites to appear instead of the link that i wanted to see. Why does this happen? My friend downloaded pornographic mpegs/avis from Kazaalite on my computer, and he has also browsed adult websites.
I've tried using all the popular Spyware and Adware programs to attempt and remove my problem but nothing works. How do i fix it? It seems as though whenever i try clicking links, adult websites pop up instead. Help!

 

perhaps its just what the link is make sure you have adaware/spyware up to date by downloading the latest update with the automatic updater located in their respected programs. This is weird, are you sure its not one of the 10 billion porn links on all search engines.

if youve tried turning on all the settings in adaware (deep scan and all that sorta stuff) and run spybot on startup AND updated it (!!!) then formatting is your only way out.

 

Download and run "Hijack This!" and post the results here. Sounds like another hijacking.
