weird taskbar error

suddenly, when i have the mirc window open, and i try to select another taskbar entry, such as firefox, it will deselect mirc, but nothing willl open, it does the same thing wis trillian. its so weird, i dont have this problem with any other programs

 

Is mIRC set to be Always On Top?

Open mIRC's System menu (<Alt>+<Space>) and make sure "On Top" is unchecked.

 

thanks, i didnt even think of that, i have not idea how it got set to that

 

probably the equivilant of hitting the insert key by accient and the wondering why all you text gets typed over

 

Only reason I thought of it is because I seem to do it like 50 times a day with Task Manager.
