Weird virus? Need some help

On my web browser(Internet Explorer) I can go to certain pages and not to others. The ones I cannot access are generally pages where you buy items, online banking, and most any other sites that deal with transactions.

When I go to my online banking or other sites, when I get to a certain point, I get a “page cannot be displayed” or the page will simply close.

EX: When I try to access Oldnavy.com the page will fully load then immediately close.

This sounds like a virus, but McAfee doesn’t detect anything and Adware software doesn’t either.

All other functions on the computer are fine.

Any ideas or suggestions?
