Weirded out Control Panel

Hey all,

My Control Panel looks totally weird. The icons used to be all nice and in the middle but now they're all bunched to the side. It's very strange.

Plus when i go to the 'Add/Remove Programs' option i can't even see what programs i have on there.

It's been going on for a while so i can't actually remember what could have exactly happened, maybe a virus.

I have enclosed screenshots of what i mean.

have you installed any anti spyware programs recently?

or, for that matter, when did this porblem first happen?

what programs have you installed since it first occured?

have you tried a system restore?

 

My OP is Windows 2K.

I have Spybot Search and Destroy although i don't think i had it when the problems first started.

How exactly is a system restore and how do i do it?
