    Hi

You need the WEP key or the Router Address?

If this is your router, your WEP key would have been set up by you when you set up the security. The 192.168.2.1 that you typed is the default address for various brands of routers. They are two completely different things.

Are you using a cable connection to connect to the router? If not, connect by cable to access the router using the same IP address you have been trying.
You can also try powering down your entire network and rebooting in sequence - Modem, router and comp - waiting for each one to completely restart before the next one is powered up.
Here's a trouble shooting procedure from Belkin that's generic but may be helpful - http://www.belkin.com/support/article/?lid=en&pid=f5d7230-4&aid=2440&scid=221

If all else fails, perform a hard reset of the router back to factory default condition and reset your connection details from the start.

    Hi,

In order to login to your Belkin f5d7230-4 you need to know its address.

Here's how to do it, from Windows:

Windows 7: Click Start. In the "Search programs and files" field, type:

    CMD and then press Enter.

This will put you at a CMD prompt. At that prompt, type:

    IPCONFIG and then press Enter.

Scroll through the list. You're looking for the default gateway address - it will be under either the "Wireless LAN adapter Wireless Network Connection" section or the "Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection" section, depending on whether you have a WiFi or Ethernet connection.

This is the address of your Belkin router.

Open a Web browser, and enter that address as follows:

    http://<address>

Example: Assume that the address is 192.168.2.1 (which it is for many modern Belkin routers). You'd enter:

    http://192.168.2.1

    and then press Enter.

Enter the IP address that you obtained via IPCONFIG as detailed above. You should get a login page. The default password is blank (none). If that doesn't work, then you need to find out what the password is.

At that point, you need to find the area where the WEP key is stored. I don't have one of these, so all I can do is point you at the manuals:

    http://en-us-support.belkin.com/app...FyY2hUeXBlIjoibWVudWZpbHRlciJ9fX19fSwiYyI6Mn0.

Pick the version that corresponds to your device: That information should be on it somewhere, probably on a sticker on the bottom.

I don't know whether or not your router will actually show the WEP key - many do not. If it doesn't, then your only options are to recover the key from a computer, or to reset the router to defaults.

To recover the WEP key from a Windows computer, try the software from here:

    Regards,

    dj
