Another born again?

Don't watch too much telly- but Love Two and a half men. One show that gets me laughing out loud. Sure its a tad crass, but the aired episodes are censored for language in India. I switch on my *lip reading eyes*.

It doesn't make much sense? He's actually calling himself a hypocrite, saying he can't do what he's doing and be what he is.

He's either

A) God fearing and damning his immortal soul for money
B) Not god fearing and just talking out his buttocks

By the few interviews I've seen he sounds like he has the intellect of a fruit fly. At least now his words match demeanour.

Wrong! Breach your contract let them sue you and take all your money or at least part of it, do the show for free or just donate all the money to charity.

Isn't that preferable to burning in a lake of fire for eternity? If I were a believer I'd imagine god doesn't pay much attention to contracts to do the devils work.

I wonder if it's because the people from the church 'pray' on them because they're rich. "The money you earn on that show is the devils money son, let me do some good with it..."

Church roofs are expensive and so is the Reverend's Ferrari.:-D

 

Not every church/pastor is/are money hungry and drive expensive cars, way to stereotype. rolleyes Not to mention, not all "Christians" who claim to be are and those who are aren't all crazy, feeble-minded individuals as vastly portrayed in the media. Oh wait, I forgot the popular thing to do these days is to bash Christians because they have standards and morals, gee, what an awful thing to have.


I have never seen this show but yes, things can change. People can change. There is nothing wrong with calling things as you as you see them. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and it amazes me that some people are allowed to have *valid* opinions only if they coincide with everyone elses, if not they are mocked and called looney or intellectually deficient.

Usually I don't rant about these things but I was shocked at the attitude/tone of you group of usually very open minded folks.

 

Hmmm rolleyes Where to start?

Firstly I haven't mentioned Christians once let alone bash Christians, I haven't even bashed anyone's beliefs or anyone's right to believe any mythology they choose. The only thing I've done is joke about Reverends/church leaders of all faiths who reel celebrities in and basically extort them for money and fame, like what's happening here. Who's the black guy sat next to him and why is he on camera? Same as happened to Mohammed Ali, or Tom cruise ect.

There are lots of Christian actors, probably most US actors but I haven't bashed any of them for believing whatever and I wouldn't, it's their choice part of freedom something I cherish because I don't want to believe the same thing. But if a celebrity gets in front of a camera on his high horse and says what he's doing is filth and against every fibre of his belief, something he can't do being religious while continuing to do it because of money then he needs to be called out for being a hypocrite.

I will comment on his beliefs now though. For one I don't know why jokes used in the show that are obviously jokes and not meant to be taken seriously are an abomination according to the bible, your obviously religious so is he right? Is there a line in the bible banning joking around or dirty references? If there is something written that outlaws it then I retract this paragraph.

Some of the most religious people I know like naughty jokes and IMO are better people because of it so it isn't really a case of me disagreeing with his beliefs, I don't think most Christians would even agree with his beliefs.

Secondly anyone who watches two and half men then copies it like he said in the video, that he has "scientific proof" of happening is an idiot, the idea that people are watching THAT show and taking what they've learnt from it into society to destroy it rather than having a few laughs then changing channels is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard, this is the reason for my joking around, because it's silly.

Kid has been doing that show for a large portion of his life, and he is still VERY young. Why not just put his confused world view about his job and how he feels about it down to being a dopey, confused teenager? Doesn't have to be any more complicated then that.

It's not rocket science, folks.
