A Steven Seagal movie marathon!! Such incredible acting!! Fantastic overlying undercurrents!! What amazing photographic visualisation,,

The sublty of Mr. Seagal leaves me speechless.

I'm fine. Grass is mowed in advance of the flood warnings due tomorrow, so I'm relatively happy. Been rainy all week, and I was mowing the mud in a few places even today. Don't you wish you had problems like that?

You mow mud very carefully, not digging your toes or heels in and making holes in what passes for grass. Pure clay down here... pitiful... nothing grows without chemical life-support, well, nothing but weeds anyway. Clay holds water like a sponge.

No problems with flooding where I live; I've seen flooded houses before; I carefully check topography before buying a house. My neighborhood is terraced, with a lovely little creek about 100 feet lower than my house, about 2 blocks away. If water starts coming under the door, I'll be looking for a big boat with lots of animals on it. Driving around town can be entertaining though. And I do need to visit a couple of stores tomorrow. Maybe. We'll see.

Not that bad really. Expecting 2-3 inches of rain, on top of already saturated ground, so some low-lying areas will be big swimming holes. Or mud holes.
