What are these files?

    Hi,
    Working on a friends PC running Win7 Home Premium and came across these files with strange extensions.
    Can anyone explain what they are?

    Is your friend using anything related to LinkSys (LAN, wireless, modem, router)? These are all files associated with LinkSys devices.

    I don't think it's to do with Linksys but I found this article that might be relevant, although it doesn't specifically apply to Win 7. Take a registry backup first if you intend following it through.
