i have an old pc, with 64ram running.
i have 2 hard disks, one 20gb and one 40 gb. i installed xp on it but its so slow and i have problems viewing with good resolutions.
i also have trojans on the system. what can you advise me?
i want to change for somethign new, not bulky but up and running smoothly.
i am not much of a game player at all, so i dnt need the latest graphics card. i just need something solid, a good antivirus and a good os.

feel free to ask any questions and to suggest anything that could help me out!
    thanks!:)

64meg of ram is not enough to run XP in any way, shape or form!
It would run horribly slow even without trojans on your system.

If you suspect malware has infested your system and you would like to clear the matter, i guess you have 2 choices....

    (1) Format your drive and do a 'clean install' of your OS and programs, or
    (2) Follow the 'Read & Run Me First' directions before posting in the malware forum!....these guys are best equiped to deal with your problems and help you get clean!

For system upgrade advice on a budget, I would recommend you learn as much as possible on the topic!

XP would run much better if you double the amount of RAM from what you have now - which would not be very expensive at all.
