Thought I saw where you said you were suspended for a while. Can't be as bad as getting a lifetime ban for "flaming" like I got from another site.rolleyes Just for asking why another member had quit. Was told to mind my own business( wasn't phrased quite that politely ).

edit: nevermind, I have been here since February '08. Doesn't seem that long ago. I was trying to be funny but just ended up looking stupid

 

AH, I see what you meant by it not being his decision! I really should read the posts more throughly, huh?:-o As for me, well real-life reared it's ugly head and things went to hell there for awhile. First, I was diagnoised with 'mycobacterium avium,' a bacteria that grows in the lungs. But the worse thing to happen was I had to put my 15 year old German Shepard, Bailey, to sleep. She had intestinal cancer and the vet wanted to put her through treatments to HOPEFULLY get rid of the cancer. I told her no. Bailey was 15, getting weaker by the day and the chances are she wouldn't have survived those treatments. I told the vet no treatments, and I stayed with her until she was gone. It hurt like hell to see it, but I NEVER desert a friend and she WAS, and still IS, my friend.

 

@ Stubby, so sorry about you sweet pet, it's hard I know.
so you, bacteria going away? How is you son taking the lose of Bailey? Kids seem to get over things faster then we do, have more distractions I guess.

No Darlene, there is no 'cure' for that crap, but it can be kept under control. The good part is it's not fatal, nor is it contagious. I'm just glad I didn't get the 'sister' strain of this bacteria..'mycobacterium tuberculosis!' Now that would have been BAD!!! As for my son, he took it ALOT better than I did, that's for sure! But, like you said, kids do get over things quicker than as soggy adults do:-D



@Senlis As for stupid, trust me my friend, you are NOT alone there! My wife tells me I invented the word stupid!!! No, I didn't invent the word, but I sure did help!!:-D

 

Tell her you were able to invent the concept thanks to her continued presence and inspiration...
