What differences are there in USA XP and Australian XP

raises some interesting comparisons with USA versus Australian prices/versions, for XP Pro.

I'd love to get full copy of XP Pro for around $100 Australian.

What differences are there in the 2 versions. I knpw I would have to set up dates, times, etc.

Are there any major differences between the 2 versions.

I think in the Australian version we don't get help files or Calculator because we are smarter and have no use for them.

There aren't any differences, at least any I'm aware of or would expect.

I haven't seen a copy of XP Pro for AUS $100.00, but I have seen XP PRO OEM for about AUS $150 or even a student academic upgrade for AUS $110-120.

You certainly don't need to pay hundreds though.

 

Thanks Insomniac for the info. I know I can get an upgrade to XP Home for AUD$149 from most computer stores, but would like XP Pro OEM in preference to an upgrade. Will have to keep looking. Bazza
