Of all the websites on all the internet, that was your first posting choice?

Welcome to Major Geeks titinka kinda a harsh hello from our Lev, but I do have to agree that is a some what macabre site at first glance , but seeing as it is a work in progress it could be a great one. Keep posting, just remember that the right to post, brings with it the right for others to criticize.

@ BCGray...many people join MGs everyday. Most post initially in the malware forum, or secondary the hardware or software forum, with some kind of issue/problem they are having.

The next category post in the Welcome Forum or Lounge, with an introductory "hi" and associated words.

Very few simply make one sole posting to a website URL with no further comments or reasons why that take you to quite a shocking site (unless they are spamming), especially considering another flight went down just this morning in Nigeria

So...."harsh"?.....no, just surprised at the first thing a few people choose to post after taking the trouble to register to a geek site.

Same person has spammed this on many forums in the past week... I guess with the amount of adverts on the main page and the lack of any other posting that this was/is and advertising revenue booster of a post.

Just glad I didnt read it before getting on the plane lastnight, when just before take-off they stopped with computer issues, and a noise like a barking dog coming from the near the cockpit ( kinda guessing it wasnt a fetish of the pilot or co-pilot ;) ) so after 2hrs delay, and the barking dog gone, we took-off :)

Hehe...from which (no doubt) the help would have come from first class, seat 26B, via a laptop!

:( Gee, I wish I hadn't read this thread . . . I have to fly in a few weeks and I am not looking forward to it at all, now . . . not gonna visit that link again, either . . .

I actually haven't flown on a commercial airliner in 26 years . . . or any aircraft, for that matter.

I was in the Air Force, but I flew a typewriter and a steel desk! I like keeping my feet on Terra Firma for the most part. My wife thinks I'm nuts, saying (and it's true) that flying is safer then driving. Yes, I say - but if my engine conks out on the interstate I can simply coast to a stop!!!!!

I know...that's why I said it. It was found the weekend my parents visited Liverpool and tried to cross the Mersey on the ferry ;)
