I got a new intel motherboard as a gift, i built a couple pc before so i'm kinda familiar with some stuff but now I'm trying to buy a video card on newegg for it (915PBL) and i see all these specs and i 'm puzzled , can somebody explain to me what they mean please

    Core clock: 300MHz ?
    D-SUB: 1 ?
    DirectX: DirectX 9
    DVI: 1 ?
    Memory Clock: 550MHz ?
    Memory Interface: 128-bit ?
    OpenGL: OpenGL 1.5 ?
    PixelPipelines: 8 ?
    TV-Out: S-Video Out
    VIVO: No ?

How do i choose the right one?

    In simple terms:

Core Clock = video card's chip speed, faster the better in most cases
DirectX = an application program interface (API) made by microsoft. you need it for just about every game out there.
memory clock speed = same as core clock, just for the memory
mem interface = number of positions available (010110101....etc) higher the better for floating point calculations
TV-OUT = you can hook video card to a tv with the right cables instead of using a monitor
DVI = is a different connector, mainly used by LCD monitors

someone else can fill in the rest ;)
