    Hi,
Is there a way to check out Windows updates using the number eg KB2630937? Since I downloaded a batch of updates last week I am having a weird problem and I want to see which update might be responsible but just having a long list of numbers tells me nothing. I have looked on the Windows forums but if there is an answer there I am too thick to find it so I come to the experts.

Caliban I don't need no steenkin' title!

And, to go along with the above, you might consider restoring to a point before the updates to clear up the problem, then configuring WU to download only, and selectively install until you find the culprit.

As already posted, KB = Knowledge Base, but the number you show seems not to be a valid one.

A valid KB number, e.g. 2345886, can directly be appended to the URL support.microsoft.com/kb/http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2345886/ and it will give you all the information about this particular KB article.
