I don't like VIA chipsets, but it's a budget board at a reasonable price.

It will easily play the games you mentioned, and should accept the hardware you have.

Just needs a reasonable video card unless you want to rely on on-board graphics.

I will be adding a 9800 to it after i buy it and get paycheck.
VIA chipset...never really had experience with it.
What are the down's of this?
Will my SpeedFan be able to run with it?

I dont know.
Dont need 5pci slots and 4 ram slots.
I think 2gb is enough for a mobo.
But thanks anyways.

Pyrate's suggestion has an Intel chipset, which is generally better than VIA.

As far as PCI and RAM slots, there is no such thing as having enough.

It never hurts to have more, and doesn't generally cost more.

If the Abit is the same or similar price, it would be a better choice.

If you have your heart set on the MSI board, don't let me put you off.

It's a decent budget board, and will go well with your hardware.

As far as your question on SpeedFan, I haven't had any experience, so can't offer any insight.

If the Abit board is the same i will buy it.
Where can i see some more specs for the Abit mobo?

HERE is a great site on the Abit.

Compare the price and features, and choose wisely. They are both good boards though.

The best two boards mentioned are the Abit and ASUS.

It's hard picking one over the other, but the Abit has a better chipset, Intel, whereas the ASUS has SIS.

Both are very well featured, so it would basically come down to price, and which one has more suitable features for you.

Im going to go with the MSI.
Can get that one at a local store and it's just perfect for what i have(hardware wise).
Thanks for all suggestions and comments.
