Hello, new user here! I'm in an intro level computer security class and I'm stumped by a couple of our in class questions. If anyone could help, that'd be great! :-D

    1)What does SYSKEYED mean?
2)If you weren't an administrator, how could you retrieve a copy of a SAM file? (One way involves checking to see if the system has been secured after the backup process)
3)Search the internet to find a program that could be used to decrypt a SAM file. What is the name of it and what does it do?

    Thanks in advance,

    WooKeTS

Welcome to MGs!! Actually, I have no clue as to what it means, but if this will help, this is what it does http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SYSKEY I know that's probably not much help, but that's as close as I can get:-o
