   It's an Outlook Express Email message.
   
   When I did a little research, it seemed that everyone said you should change it to .eml from .email.
   
   Just make sure you scan it with your Antivirus.

   Try this:
   
   
   

   • Highlight the message in the Windows Mail or Outlook Express mailbox summary.
   • Select File | Save As... from the menu.
   • Choose Mail (*.eml) as the format
