The instruction at "0x02ee935d" referenced memory at "0x03050008" . The memory could not be "read".

This is what I get what closing out of Photoshop. I also get a similar error with my other programs not all but most. Is my memory going bad? I have just reformated my system and I am reinstalling my programs. I have the latest drivers and updates.

    Ok I'll rephrase the question.
What causes this type of error. I did some Google searching and I didn't find what I was looking for.

could be nearly anything. Bad parameter being passed. A string that is too long. I don't think your RAM is bad. It could possibly be something that photoshop is hooked into and can't release properly when closing.

    Thank you kodo for replying.
My 3dsMax is doing the same thing. i don't want to install any more programs untill I find out what is causing this. I am thinking I should reformat and start over but I think that would be a drastic step. Do you have any ideas as where to look for answers. What would be keeping the program open even after I closed it. i don't think I did anything different this time around. ( twice a year I reformat my drives) and do a clean install.

I'm gonna do a hunt and peck suggestion..

Uninstall your printer from your printer control panel and try it. If you stop getting that error then search for updated printer drives. The only reason why I chose the printer is because it's a main "object" that everything polls when starting.

Well since I don't have a printer hooked up yet I think I might uninstall my programs and start over. if that doesn't work then it's time to start over again.

    iamien Cptn "Eh!"

Run a full scan disk, uncluding a sector scan.
Note this will take a while so best to do it before you go to sleep :D
