what does this mean ? msdos related

    16 bit windows subsystem
    c:\ windows\system\auto.nt. the system file is not suitablefor running ms-dos and windows applications.
    this come up when i try to install software a have

    It means you are trying to install some really old app that was built for dos on a new computer which only sorta supports old DOS apps.

    Basicly, it means it most likely won't work. You might be better off getting yourself a copy of dosbox (http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1) and trying to run it in there.
