It means you are trying to install some really old app that was built for dos on a new computer which only sorta supports old DOS apps.

Basicly, it means it most likely won't work. You might be better off getting yourself a copy of dosbox (http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1) and trying to run it in there.

Do step 4, set the files as read only as a precaution, then check for spyware and viruses.

If you are clean, remove the read only attributes.
