What does this mean?

    My computer got really upset and said:

    IRQL_not_less_or_equal

    It then dumped data to a drive and shut down before I could get a pen and paper to write down what it said. My PC, although new, is dying, I think.

    I have an Athlon AMD 2000 with 512 Ram and XP home

    Hi, Do you have the automatic restart switched off in Control panel/system/advanced/startup and recovery. If this is switched to off it is possible to read the whole screen rather than the first line of two.

    It might be nothing much than a program playing up. Peace Mal
