what does this yahoo message indicate?

What does it indicate?
Last year all entries of my addressbook had disappeared and after sometime all persons received one mail advertising products of a chinese company.all mails had mentioned my ID as sender.

Whats up?What actions are required to be taken.Pl. guide.

 

That sounds to me like you have been infected (possibly still are) and your machine has been used for sending spam, i think you should head over to the malware forum and follow the "read me run me" section!

I think Halo is probably right. I've gotten a similar message when I've tried to send more than one email to large numbers of people. In that case, the message was, something to the effect of, too many recipients -- must wait 24 hours to send 2nd email to multiple recipients.

You know, you can telephone Yahoo and ask what the message means. Here are 2 numbers that I've used. Don't know if they're current, but at least one of the two should be: 408 349 1572 and408 349 3300

 

I ran super antispyware and malwarebyte's anti malware softwares as suggested in malware forum's "read me run me" section!

But when I tried to disable my current anti virus before trying combofix,as suggested in above section,I received this message about a restriction.see image. I have seen this type of message first time.What is meant by that?What am I supposed to do?Pl. guide

I think it's a trojan spambot, I'm attaching the headers from the type of email sent by it; I've just received this one so looks like I'll be AFK on a callout soon, second time this year to the same client for the same problem

@bharatk8, if you tell us which antivirus you use, we should be able to explain how to disable it so that you can continue the cleanup.

 

That looks like the clincher to me Halo, compare with the message in my attachment.

It does seem to indicate that bharatk8 is, or has recently been, infected by a similar trojan spambot.
