    Dear members,

I am looking for a good firewall. I want one that is good and has as low memory usage as possible. Also, I don't want additional crap such as a pop-up blocker or cookies blocker or whatever, I just need a firewall:major

I'm am using Sygate Personal Firewall atm but I've noticed that the last version dates from 2004...So this piece of lovely software is getting a little old. Does anyone know a worthy replacement?

Any help will be appreciated :drool

    Thx:)

Your choice in that other thread, :D , (and for others, if interested).

Bit of a difference, but check out the Freeware links in the MG Firewall link I gave. Nearly all of us are cheapskates and use a FREE Firewall. :D Bazza

Is comodo a light firewall? like light as in doesn't use too much RAM? And because this is also a bit related, I'd like to ask whether NOD32 or Kaspersky AV is better.

Check the link in #2, by Samtal. That is what it is there for.;)
I've just installed Comodo and am trying to teach it which applications are safe to use.

Wow, that is significantly less memory than Zonealarm uses. I think I will switch to it since it appears to get good reviews too.

Yeah comodo is pretty good. I've already uninstalled System Safety Monitor because it was not free and I could not find a cracked version :s

    Anyways, comodo is good :)

Don't mention "cracked version" here at MG. :p
This is a strictly legal site. :cool The owners of MG, moderators, (and users) will come down on anyone like a ton of bricks, if "cracks" or "warez", etc., are requested, or mentioned. Bazza
