My issue of Game Informer came in today with a lovely cover reminding me that this will be my last issue unless I renew. Before I went off and did that however, I wanted to look into something different. So what publication do you guys typically read, think thats good, or would never pick up again? :D

personally I like EGM, i got a free subscription for a year which was cool but the only one I pay for is Maximum PC which covers a few games each month, mainly PCs in general though. u can get a free trial thing on their website

I used to have EGM a while ago, but I thought it was a little bit to childish, i guess. GI seems more professional and clean cut. I usually get most of my gaming news from the net, but its nice to have a hard print of something to read while I visit the throne.:D

I am currently subscribed to GameInformer, I got a 12 month subscription for free when I signed up for my Gamestop Discount Card. Its great so far as I can keep track on the latest news. (of course, thats what its for ;) )

I typically read Atomic magazine but it is catered more for the Aussie market so might not be to relevant to you.

Heres a link ot their site anyway - http://www.atomicmpc.com.au/

I know what you mean, it seems that if you want PC game coverage, u have to go to a mag that is dedicated to it. Game Informer does have a page or two on them though. Usually a PC game of the month and a preview of something.

Unless they come with a CD :p. lol, i don't really care about the Demos though. Thats why I have XBL.

I checked that out. Looks like a decent magazine, although not specific to gaming. Still, it would about $94USD for a subscription to the US lol. A bit too much for me. :D
