what happened to my w32.blaster/worm infection?

last night I got this infection and couldnt do anything on my computer
I used my PDA and found this on here

and thought I had to go to another computer and DL and use it

this morning, I can open my browser and show no signs of the infection...what happened

I use win7, FF, and this computer is newish,it recently came back from asus after having some repairs done, not virus related,
so I need to buff up the spyware? I have ccleaner, Microsoft security essentials

and it says I need admin rights to use it
I DO!
I have one user on my computer and I have admin rights..what gives?

 

Download and save it to your desktop then rightclick "run as administrator" see if that helps, it could be the infection that is stopping you from opening the removal tool!!! if so you will need to get help in the Malware Forum here...
