What happened to Shift-Printscreen in Win2000?

With Win98 I could hit Shift-PrtScreen and whatever text was in a DOS window would immediately print on LPT1. But, I recently upgraded the old computer to win2000 and this no longer works. Is there a different set of key strokes that will print a DOS screen? If not, are there any utilities I can install that will help? I am not interested in any screen capture programs that save the screen image as a .jpg file which the dot matrix printer connected to LPT1 won't print anyway. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated. I am aware that Alt-PrintScreen will copy the screen to the clipboard. But, I am looking for a memory resident utility that will print the screen to LPT1 without additional steps - like I could do in win98.
