I have an "HP Vectra VL400" pc. I need an 80GB hard drive for my extensive audio editing work. I also do video editing as well. I am a sound engineer and work in a recording studio with real artists. Please let me know what kind of 80GB hard drive is best for me, and would work on my system. I need top quality stuff. The place I have to buy the new hard drive is:

    Canada Computers

    http://www.canadacomputers.com

Please check that site and tell me the best 80GB hard drive and the exact words/name/specs/brand of the one I have to buy. I need this asap.

Money is not an issue as most of the 80gigs are around the same price at that store. Just tell me the best 80GB one I need. I was told somthing about 2mm and 8mm??? I dunno what that is but help me sort it out so I get the best hardest working, fastest, long life 80GB hard drive from that store that is compatible with my system. I heard stuff about sata and ide so i dont know what i need. Please help.

I do extensive audio engineering so keep that in mind....

    Bye thanx
