What is a good brand of power supply??

I am getting signs my last up grades may be too much for my power supply and I want to get a good one, Have a lot invested in this so far and want to do it right! I am going for minimum 500 watts but i have heard so much about the amps being right for the 12v and 3 v and 5v rails took the test for how much my system requiers and it said min 416watts.
any suggestions on brands that are tried and true??

my Enermax imploded on me after 1~yr taking along the mobo + stick of ram; my Antec true power 410W gave up after 2years; i have now a 500W X-connect Ultra modular PSU which has been getting REALLY good reviews all around the place currently running it with a high end rig and it has performed wonderfully. Highly reccomend it because of mod , dual fan, blue light, chrome finish, and aerodynamic cable with high end finish.

Antec is a brand I know but have never seen X-Connect where can I find info on this?? I'll try google but if you have site? let me know

i'm using a thermaltake now. i had to rma the first one i bought, but this one is going strong.
