What is a .h extsion file

I was just opening Firefox and Thunderbird on my laptop when all of a sudden this file msdtcprf.h showed up on my desktop. I have almost no icons on my desktop so I noticed it immediately.

I double clicked on it and it opened a text file in notepad. Nothing in there references anything I recognize other then it seems to be a log of some sort. The file is only 80 KB in size

I use WIN XP pro

Thanks for any ideas. A Google search didn't help me any.

Thanks for the help. I guess it just got copied to my desktop by some quirk. I still have a copy in my Windows\system 32 folder so I'm just going to try to delete the desktop one and see if it does any obvious harm.
