    Hi,

I installed and used SpyBot for the first time today. One of the "red entries" it found is called "DSO Exploit" and it has 5 entries. It couldn't get rid of DSO Exploit, asked me to reboot and tried again. But it's still there. I'm wondering what it is and if there is a way to get rid of it. Thanks.

This is a well known bug in SpyBot S&D. See this link: http://forums.net-integration.net/index.php?showtopic=15308

If you are up to date with you Windows Critical Updates, you can ignore this. If fact you can set SpyBot to ignore it in SpyBot's settings, Ignore Products, Security.

Make sure you check you Windows updates. Don't guess. Go to Windows Update: http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp
    Then click scan for updates.
Download ALL of the critical updates.
