   I have WinXP, service pack 2,
   
   My Sygate firewall informed me that an executable file C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntoskrnl.exe was trying to change (?)
   
   I denied it access but am now wondering if I should have let it change. Can you tell me what this is and if I should allow it access?
