What is Pv92tray.exe?

    Pv92tray.exe suddenly appeared in my start menu. What is it and what does it do? I googled it with no success. Is there any place I can research the names of system files to determine where they are important or junk?

    sounds like a Modem file.. do you have a DUN modem?

    what I would do as its a [rant of the day] DAMM NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TASK to find out what startup items are these days with search engines full of &^%$"£&((*% .. HJT logs [/rant of the day] is to locate the file in the most probable location of Windows > System32 folder and right click > properties and find out who made the file, if you can give us a screen shot of the version tab info that maybe helpful.
