What is Python 2.2?

    I'm cleaning a friend's computer (holy s@#% it's got loads of crap on it).

    Is this something that was loaded on there by her son or is it something that would have come on the computer?

    Python is a programing language. If he needs it or not I don't know. Or if that is really what you have there.

    Thanks. Not sure why she would need it. Her son has loaded a bunch of crap like limewire, etc. I've uninstalled a lot. She told me to, but he is not going to be happy. lol

    There was also Python 2.2.3 or something, so I uninstalled the earlier version and left the newer one. She is not computer literate, so I'm thinking I could uninstall both.

    As mentioned this is a programing language. And if the user is not going to program in python then no version of this is required, however since it is a programing language why not simply ask the user if they have any use for it? Never know this could spark and interest in a future programmer.
