Since version 7 zonealarm has become a pain in the a** with EVERYTHING, truevector crashes when torrents are running, I have a sneaking suspicion that my random BSOD's are because I leave my webcam on at night and zonealarm hates internet activity it seems...so any ideas on what to switch to?

Ok thank you. I've made my choice...I've decided to take System Security Monitor because it has alot of functionalities that I can use :)

Beware, it is getting old, and not a big download so it may not be a "full" firewall.
    For Windows mobile? :confused
Also it is Shareware which may, or may not be, a consideration for you.

I see, I did not notice that, Bazza...
I guess it will be better to pick another one from the list, because old software is the reason why I'm changing...

Hmz...I'm going to download some more software :)

    Thanks for the tip ;)

    *EDIT:

Bazza, I seem to have made a crucial mistake :p The program I chose it not System Security Monitor, but System Safety Monitor, thank god :) But I thank you very much for helping me :)

    ***EDIT:

wow shit. i'm such a noob. I just noticed that this is not my thread. LOL. I'm replying to a thread of which I thought I started it. LOL. I'm stupid.

Comodo is working quite nicely so far, gonna run a battery of tests from my laptop onto my desktop. So far pretty sweet.

I've installed Comodo, too. Only comment so far is that it seems to be pretty slow in learning the programs I approve of. I am sure I have answered OK and ticked the box on some, more than once and they still popup again. :confused

Just remembered, the contact linkto their home site of "unknown" stuff doesn't work for me. :cry Anyone else having that trouble? Bazza

Only problem I had with Comodo is that it crashed when I tried to open several Firefox and IE7 windows at the same time.:cry

I also think it is slowing down my typing appearing in replies. As if my 2 fingered typing isn't already slow enough. :D Bazza

    I've seen this behaviour myself!

When you get a pop-up, it usually comes with several at the same time (you'll see them numbered, ex. this is app. x out of y), and you have to be sure to set it to remember each.

I plan on moving to Comodo once the current McAfee subscription expires. Check out Comodo's big .pdf user/help file...it may advise on issues some posters mentioned. I like the McAfee performance, but its time to go freeware, and McAfee is quite a resource hog as is widely known.

But for me, M_M, only one occurrence at a time if I remember correctly. I've got rid of Comodo today. Seems to slow down keyboard and mouse response for me. Gone back to MS firewall :cry for the moment whilst I investigate others. Bazza

It's not Comodo slowing down my PC, I think, as it is still doing it with Comodo un-installed. Back to my battle with Logitech I guess.:cry :( Bazza

I've been using Comodo for some time now and have had no issues. :)
