What is the best weather program?

I have tried weather bug and the weather channels thingy (im using it rite now) and they both have a ton of ads and aren't really what I'm looking for. What is the best weather program out there that shows the weather in the taskbar and also takes up minimal resources so I can have it running in the background. I also want it to be free so that it doesn't have ads or spyware. I have seen a ton and I might get weather watcher. Thanx for the opinions in advance.

try samurize and then use a weather config. won't show on taskbar, but desktop.

Yeah I tried samurize once. I like gave up like ten minutes into making something because it sucked lol. I downloaded weather watcher and its pretty damn nice. And it also has the seal of approval to have major geeks.com host it so i know it doesn't have spyware.

Yeah Samurize isn't for those who are novice computer users.

It is a program for power users, and is very powerful, if you choose to make it such.

Powerful, super customizable programs are usually not super user friendly.

I thought that weather bug had spyware. Someone said a couple days ago that it did and thats why it wasn't listed on majorgeeks.com. Also, just because it is free doesn't mean it has to have ads... freeware. Weather Watcher seems good because it is free and doesn't have ANY ads and no spyware. Weather bug has ads and costs money.

yeah i know, its great. It is compact also...it takes like no resources what so ever. And it has a lot but not all the junk that you don't need. Its a lot better than the weather channels one or the weather bug crap lol

i have the one from mywebsearch toolbar, and its very good! you just have to select your country and region! plus the toolbar comes with great things... like a "cursormania" where you can choose the image for your cursor (with a simple click!) they have a site with cool walpapers, and many more!

 

I may be mistaken by isn't Mywebsearch spyware? I believe Spybot searches for it.

BTW- This program does a lot more than just say that though, it has the forecasts and everything and maps and more stuff that I would ever imagine.

 

I don't know if this one will make it onto the desktop. I have it bookmarked, and just go to the link, when looking over the weather.
