What Is The Fastest Way To Back Up Computer On A Secondary Drive

    I tried to back up 80 gigs of data and it failed to backup the whole way.What is the fastest way to back up.

    If "Back Up Computer" means that you want to backup the C drive with all the locked system files then you're out of luck.
    80 GB isn't that much of data. Normally a script using the ROBOCOPY command should already work.

    Any of the popular disk imaging programs will do it. I don't think there is a lot to choose between them speedwise but I like Macrium Reflect.

    Yes imaging programs will do so. But backing up 80 GB of data might not be related to a image of the OS.
    I agree that those programs don't show a big difference in performance. Also ROBOCOPY already supports multithreading. The limit is rather the speed of the connection or the writing speed of the used media.
