My alternate system is a Windows Vista computer from HP. I noticed a "Spoon" folder in my Users\AppData\Local folder. That folder is not listed in my Control Panel. The folder contains another folder named "Sandbox". When I double-clicked the Spoon folder the computer restarted from a Power-Off state.

What is the Spoon folder and can I just delete it without incurring any problems, or do I need to muck around in the Registry and delete all Spoon entries as well?

    Your title says Spool.
So... Is it Spool or Spoon?

It's best to resist the urge to delete files you know nothing about but I found THIS

Oops, I meant to write "Spoon" in the message's title.

I clicked on Earthling's link and read a little bit about Spoon-Sandbox. I think I'll leave Spoon alone on my alternate computer for the time being unless I continue to have start-up problems on that system.

Thank you for your replies. If anyone else has opinions about Spoon I'd appreciate hearing from them.
